Until I Find Her

Life's too short, so if a chance comes your way, Take it quick
If the feelings aren't mutual then I break up quick
Some people are scared to tell the person they want to make up with
You're trying to find a girl to take to bed, I'm trying to find the girl I want to wake up with

I've had my fun, Flings, one night stands and they were great
I've had break ups, Lost girls I cared about and Felt heartbreak
I gave up on love, Shed tears, And bounced back
I just hope I find the girl I want to be my last

My heartbreak has only made me a better person for who I end up with
I Let it heal in its own time, I didn't try to mend it quick
Learned from my mistakes, they helped me to grow
I moved on from people I didn't want to see go

I gave so much to the wrong girls, imagine what I'd do for the right one
I'm going to follow my heart, I just hope it doesn't lead me the wrong way
I want a girl to come home to after a long day
My chest will be the pillow she can lie on

I hope she listens to Nas, and knows all the words to Biggie's Juicy
Instead of being at a club, I'd rather be at home with her watching awful movies
As we eat snacks, I'll already have my arms around her before she says "Hug me"
I want to wake up and see her wearing my shirt or hoody

I've recovered from my past pain, and hurt
Things are looking better now
If the right girl comes along, I'm ready to settle down
No girl will be good enough until I find her
