Unspoken, Yet True

I never meant to spark a fight,
never planned to dim your light.
Words just slipped, they found their way,
but every word, I meant to say.

If I hurt you, know this well,
it wasn’t meant to make you dwell.
Not a trick, not just a game,
what I feel—I’d say the same.

I don’t know your world so deep,
yet the parts I’ve seen, I keep.
You’re the kind that lingers long,
soft yet fierce, quiet yet strong.

I tease, I joke, just to see,
how your anger still warms me.
If only you knew, if only you’d see,
how much I wish you’d stand by me.

I won’t ask for endless things,
no stars, no moon, no diamond rings.
Just a little space, a little time,
a little hope that you’d be mine.

I waited, hoping you would say,
a word, a sign, some light my way.
But still, I’ll leave these words with you—
I love you, real and true.
