The sky wept for you today
It wept for hours, yet
the fog did not lift or fade
The mist thickened and gathered
only to form a single tear
That tear was all that mattered
because after the fog, after the mist,
Came the rain
And the sky wept.
Unleashing torrents of tears
into streaming waterfalls
that fell upon my head
Unleashing the anger, frustration
and all the denial
After the fog, after the mist
Came the rain
And I wept
and i wept for you today.
