Uninhibited Love

She loved him like no other Feelings pure and intense Sending shivers of wonder Ardor came to her defense She wore a smile with him Sensing his gentle warmth Holding each other on a whim With kindness that performs She felt like she was floating Soft feelings she could express On him she was always doting For him, she wished to impress She often whispered enchantment Sweet kindness that fulfilled It felt just like she was dancing Romance like this simply thrilled She reached deep into her heart And felt the fluttering there Nothing could tear them apart Her spirit sent up her prayer She knew love like this survives All the best and worst in life Together, two hearts that compromise To overcome all that brings strife She fluttered her colored wings Against his touch that would magnify The sweetness of a love that brings Joys as uninhibited as a butterfly October 1, 2019 Writing Challenge, October - Butterfly- Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Dear Heart- Wiishkobe Ode
