Unhealthy Addiction

I slip because of her,

The sight of her breathes life

Into smouldering embers,

I cannot return to the hellish home;

I have found in her,

Yet I am enraptured

By her tonguing kisses, those finger lingering traces.

I am slipping again,

The mere scent of her weaves sweet surrender of my weakened will,

My tongue says no yet my traitorous lips whisper yes,

Rationale, now a blubbering idiot.

I am undone with one careless glance,

Roving eyes that speak so great a volume that voice dare not,

I gasp for the life that is slowly sapped from me,

By this seductress of my dreams,

I slip and fall a long way down,

Because of her.
