Underrated Love

Fatherhood, a series to always take a step better than yesterday
propagation of responsibilities, to produce white from grey
goes out in sweet scents returns with the claws of a cat
sometimes hits the target, other times comes with a broken dart
dirty, risky, rocky, he still makes attempts no matter how nasty
just to ensure stability, and the weather isn’t frosty
runs from end to end, life isn’t a good Samaritan
jumping endlessly to pluck the gains like a graceful orangutan
a determined driver, flying in a plane or riding the ark
providence non-stop, be it the banquet or just the quark
securing the family’s future even through divination
a responsible man’s absolute inclination
a god to his minors for nothing to stay blank
waits to be refilled after they’ve fully drank
happy faces of his seeds, he ensures it’s not a fad
and the looks from his spouse, to never get sad
mothers wear all the crowns, at him gratitude only leers
the only accolade is he’s the general overseer
roles and benefits always involving so much patience
love displayed differently not fully perceived by any conscience.
