Love Poem: Unbroken

Unbroken

Like all deep and nasty wounds Time heals the broken Heart,
Tenderly, around the clock it mends its shattered shards.

It stops the acute bleeding and dulls the nagging pain,
As fractured Heart vows vehemently not to love again.

As fleeting time does magic, curing the Heart of gold,
It fears once a loving soul turns callous, cruel, cold.

Time ticktocks to the fragile friend, “Open up your core!
Simply love again like you haven’t been hurt before!”
