Love Poem: Uh Oh

Uh Oh

Sitting across the table
Is a face lit up by a feeling unprovoked
She's taking all the spaghetti
And she actually enjoys it
But Leaving me with none.

The sweet voice i hear
saying i miss you over the phone
i don't recognize
Wasted credit spent
Going over my cap
But she's still safe
with her 50 dollar plan.

On the midnight bus
At the end of the line
A head leans on my shoulder
and her hair smells good.
A shoulder she loves
But a face I don't remember.

I can't shut my eyes
She's stealing all my sleep
She's holding on for dear life
I might have to break something soon
To sneak out and go to you
But I'd be treading on a path
of broken glass.

So i try to love
and be content
But i accidentally called her your name.
Oops.
