I saw her working alone
to give us food and home
so frail, thin and small
no one helped from above...
So don't tell me about God
don't tell me to pray if I'm lost
cuz when I needed to be loved
she was the one who responded...
It is time for me to forgive
being too young back then to see
what I had right in front of me
all what she said, gave and did...
I will now close my eyes
to feel her here by my side
to hear her voice deep inside
