Treasure of the Heart
apart from what i think i know, apart from what i feel,
there is only one truth that holds its ground, that i know stands to be real,
i hold onto my prayers for others, in hope that they can see,
God working in their heart and soul for what he intended them to be,
selfless love can flourish beyond measure, blessings poured out from what we give,
material substance can benefit rewards, but consistancy and love restores us to live,
so meaningless our material gains we can see, coming and passing like the wind,
our personal treasures stay inside our hearts, it's always something from within,
the meaning behind the giving, the thought behind the thought,
it's what every person searches for on this earth, the heart is what is sought.
