Love Poem: Trapped

Trapped

Cry no tears for me my love
For I have yearned to move on
To stop feeling the pain
That has racked this traitorous body for so long

My mind is still sharp and clear
As I focus my eyes on you
But I just can't seem to raise these arms
And do what I wish to do

If I had control of these cursed limbs
I would gather you ever so near
And embrace your every need
Chase away every fear

If I could move these lips of mine
I'd express my love for you
So tenderly my wish would be
To hold and caress you so lovingly

If only one dream could be granted to me
My dream would be of you
To run my fingers thru your hair
And to kiss your luscious lips
To lie naked, with your heart fluttering
under my fingertips

To feel the passion stir inside
To let it flow free and grow wild
To just love you as you've loved me
But my dream can never be
For I've been trapped inside of me

All these things I try to say
No sounds from my lips ever stray
I'm going now, don't be sad for me
Soon my love I will be free

No limbs that just won't do
Exactly what I wish them to
No lips that send no sounds
No earthly chains or heavenly bounds

I'll be free to roam and wait
To sit upon Heaven's gate
Where I will wait for you
And when I see your lovely face
These words I'll say to you

I love you my darling
I've waited so long
But now your here and we are free
No pain to interfere
Nothing, to stop me

My arms rise and close around your chest
And all the feelings that I had repressed
Come rushing furiously towards me
I cover your lips and as we float above
As we begin to make slow beautiful love
