Too Much Love Will Kill You - Queen Tribute

My heart is breaking, but the show must go on. Too much love will kill you, if you try too hard. Love of my life, don't leave me; where have you gone? You're my best friend, but you have left me scarred. Too much love will kill you, if you try too hard. I feel hurt, but still you take my breath away. You're my best friend, but you have left me scarred. "You'll find somebody to love," is all you can say. I feel hurt, but you still take my breath away. You walk through the door, and say "Don't stop me now." "You'll find somebody to love," is all you can say. You want to break free? It does raise an eyebrow. You walk through the door, and say "Don't stop me now." Crazy little thing called love has turned to rust. You want to break free? It does raise an eyebrow. What do you care - another one bites the dust. Crazy little thing called love has turned to rust. Without you it seems I'm going slightly mad. What do you care - another one bites the dust. Who wants to live forever - I feel so sad. Without you it seems I'm going slightly mad. I need your loving tonight, but you're not here. Who wants to live forever - I feel so sad. I was born to love you, but now live in fear. I need your loving tonight, but you're not here. These are supposed to be the days of our lives. I was born to love you, but now live in fear, as I listen to Queen's musical archives. These are supposed to be the days of our lives. Love of my life, don't leave me; where have you gone? As I listen to Queen's musical archives, my heart is breaking, but the show must go on! Written on 29 April 2016 The Silent One
Wanted to experiment doing a pantoum using music titles. This poem has 15 of Queen's titles as below. I could not get in my favourite song Bohemian Rhapsody! The Show Must Go On Too Much Love Will Kill You Love Of My Life You're My Best Friend You Take My Breath Away Somebody To Love Don't Stop Me Now I Want To Break Free Crazy Little Thing Called Love Another One Bites The Dust I'm Going Slightly Mad Who Wants To Live Forever Need Your Loving Tonight I Was Born To Love You These Are The Days Of Our Lives Pantoum poem A rare form of poetry. It is composed of a series of quatrains; the second and fourth lines of each stanza are repeated as the first and third lines of the next. This pattern continues for any number of stanzas, except for the final stanza, which differs in the repeating pattern. The first and third lines of the last stanza are the second and fourth of the penultimate; the first line of the poem is the last line of the final stanza, and the third line of the first stanza is the second of the final. Ideally, the meaning of lines shifts when they are repeated although the words remain exactly the same: this can be done by shifting punctuation, punning, or simply recontextualizing. It does not have to rhyme nor have a syllable restriction.
