Tomorrow Shall Surely Appear

Many occasions come our way in life
it seems they are too much to bear
we think this is too much to cope with
stressing us put saying it's not fair

I remember an awful time I had
a five and a half-day week job
two nights work late till eight
this was too much I don't feel great

But I had confidence to overcome
believing that this too shall pass
how was I going to do this?
to travel on the other man's grass

Then romance had come to me
Christine I met which was bliss
a year of courtship made us love
this was destiny I could not miss

So now choosing to wed away
moving home and job to be one
tomorrow came, yesterday was gone
remember all changes in rain or sun

(This was a time over 30 years ago when I hated my job but couldn't find a way out till I met my present love so moved to her home base where we settled down happy in blessed married bliss.)
