Between hello
and goodbye,
we stand raw
and exposed
sailing on swells
of introspection
pain
love
hope
each other . . .
friendships forged in
all that
and more.
And I have often wondered
where ~
when time moves along
~ else there is to go
but up on the roof
to dance in the saddest
tears that ever fell.
