Now that you're about to graduate
what does your life have in store
i know you think that you just cant wait
but life gets harder now! than ever before
and you really have come into adulthood
in other words you think you're grown

so desprate to get out on your own
yea! baby life looks so exciting on the outside
and you just feel you need to right there
but life can take you on quite the ride
cause it's a game the never plays fair
i know at time you think we were mean
or as parents we were often hard
because we asked you to keep your room clean
or just to bring home a good report card
you remember the times you were scared
or the times when you was just feeling blue
you came to us then cause you knew we cared
and only meant the best for you
there are time i must agree
that i might have yelled or gotten a little loud
but you know just between you and me
you've always made me proud
so as you go out into this creul world
please be judgemental in the things you do
just remember you'll always be my little girl
