Thy Gifts In Heart
Joy, it comes to me in so many ways
But my joyfulness times of all my days
Are when my grandchildren are here with me
Spending time, so joyfully!
Their laughs, their smiles, their lovely faces
Brings me to...those joyful places
Where a grandparent's love and happiness, grows
My love for them just... overflows
Their first crawl, step... and walk
Their first cry, sound... talk
Beheld in my soul, to death do I part
I treasure thy gift, my grandchildren... in heart
