This Dxxn Dam
My mental barriers crumble
as I sink deeper into this drunken delirium.
Thoughts of her rush in
like water through the cracks of a broken dam.
As the stone wall falls
and I am swept away by the flood,
I am sliced by debris and images of her smile.
I become submerged
and the sounds of her laugh flow into my ears.
Beat to hell and soaked with sorrow,
I finally wash ashore.
