Love Poem: They Will Laugh

They Will Laugh

And when the humming of the wind
Is relaxing upon the wisp of every solitary hair
That for ever shakes among the midst
Of each tantalizing promise of the falling rain
Upon which the grass is breathing
Stretching for each momentary stride
Below your feet now covered with the tears

Streaming from the sky
Past the fretting of the clouds

And sparkle of each falling drop from your eyes
As the world tumbled from all that was known
And all that was seen and shown
And the childhood dancing upon the warm shores
Of a place in which the world was won
To the imagination and the fascination
To every momentary contemplation

That inspires the electricity of a thought
Of the booming within your brow
Giving ways to the impulsive heaving
Of the breath that your lungs breathe within and without
And two and forth moving ever so silently
Writhing to adore, begging to restore

That which destiny imparts its beautiful wisdom
Creating the centuries worth of love and wholeness
Of the beating of two hearts
Where the streaming rain, for those coming together
Two shall part to the separate distance of a fogging shore

We are falling forever
Yet the world watches in wonder.
And floating with wings may be joyful
Yet those without the comfort of the feathers in the sky
May find their bones shattered against the pounding of the oceans wave
A shore suddenly covered in betrayal and promise's brokenness

For those of destiny's mark, of the beautiful entrancing of the universe's collide
Saviors of the souls, of two hearts beating as one
And still the ventricular impulse of the bloods flooding rage
Bound and separate of fate's dismal charade

And my love - we cannot save them from the ground.

So we will dance in the splendor, flying through the sky from above
With the stars reflected in each dancing feather

And the broken hearts will look to the cosmos and smile.

Embracing from our love from afar.

Where we as one remain evermore.
