Love Poem: The Vow

The Vow

In time the pain will flush away emotion, there will be nothing left but devotion.

I came to you, you came to me
All there was was fantasy
Your dreams are mine and I will fly
Fly away to southern skies
To ride above a crest and
wave to all those left behind.
I am your sanity, you are my wine.
Let the trees stand still and shake as though they never will
And still
You will be beside me in all my pain
You will lift my spirits when I am deranged
You will give me sanctity when I am lost
You will give me gold and never count the cost
You give me your love and your life,
now I give you love and become your wife.
