Love Poem: The Surety of Love

The Surety of Love

Would you march in haste

A mountains tapering side

Or defy the abyss of an oceans

Infuriated tide,

And to exist for I only

When affairs volunteer so rough

Then I’d believe it’s true to state

That this is surely LOVE…………………

Would you high jack in turbulence

An airborne fast jet plane

Or scamper the crest of an express

Propelling midnight train,

And to become enhancer of voice for I

When speech is in vain so tough

Then I’d believe it’s true to state

That this is surely LOVE…………………

Would you bolt fearless through the wilderness

Upon a virgin stallion horse

Or challenge the heart of hurricane

Entrust with strides of force,

And partake within my tragedies

When my sights are set above

Then I’d believe it’s true to state

That this is surely LOVE………………….

Would you voyage yonder with projection

Horizontal to the moon

Or pursue the clouds in governed cover

Of a hot air charged balloon,

And foresee to be unconscious

Of my weakness

When my brain is full of fluff

Then I’d believe it’s true to state

That this is surely LOVE……………….

Would you embark upon the darkness

Within the jaws of a lions lair

Or deputise for I the showdown

With a black as thunder bear,

And shield I with protection

From showers of human stuff

Then I’d believe it’s true to state

That this is surely LOVE…………………

Would you advance in gravity

With endurance of flames upon your feet

Or scramble the soils of meadows

Laden of towering seasoned wheat,

And to steer I honest and wisely

Retained buttoned within your cuff

Then I’d believe it’s true to state

That this is surely LOVE…………………

Would it be solely for I alone

That averse to the world you stand

To transform my blind spot of naivety

And harbour I from total man,

But foremost of all, to be my friend

As that to I is proof enough

Then I shall believe it is correct to state

That, that is obviously the surety of LOVE........
