The Spirit That Lives Within Me
And so that I might live a life free in the wind
His blood shed so that my life can begin
Not clouded full of sin
When we wear the salvation
Of all of Gods creation
Then there is no mistaken or forsaken
What Satan has surely taken
He spends all of his time making us weak
Though we seek to keep our feet on the ground
With the love, we have found in You
We learn not stand around
With the truth wrapped like a great crown
The breastplate of righteousness in place
For all peace to find its way
Standing your ground knowing you have found
Such a sound place in God
Our faith in his promise is what sets us free
This would be what God wants
All his children to believe
As we receive our direction
When we place our faith in everything
He teaches you and me
We must all stand strong
As we learn to get along
Never let Satan get in front of you
He will do anything to spring bad taboo
This is so true
As he wants to steal your soul from you
He does not care what kind of despair
He just wants to get a flair
To makes us believe that we do not care
But when we wear the helmet of salvation
As we make our way through all of Gods creation
Making it impossible for Satan
To take any life that we might see
Now that the Lord Almighty
Has given us the key that set us free
As long as we agree we can stand our ground
Cause Satan could not pound my soul from me
Not as long as God lives through everything
We believe to be
Just like the bible has taught us to see
