Love Poem: The Spark

The Spark

The fires that burn'd down Rome, 'tis said,
All started with a spark.
A spark can burn a building down,
A spark can end the dark.

The touch that turn'd the beast to man
It started with a spark.
A spark is in the devil's eye
And in an Angel's heart.

All possess that little spark,
It's hidden in their hearts.
It's up to them to use it for
To destroy or to build.

I'll use my little spark for love,
For passion and romance.
For if it turns into a flame
May people love the dance!

The choice is up to me to start
To generate the gist;
For if the spark is in my heart
It means that love exists.
