Love Poem: The Snow White Dove

The Snow White Dove

Fourteen years she gave him her love

Little children laughing at the snow white dove

Reflecting an image so soft and sweet

But the mirror lies then it cuts your feet

Closing out reality

The reflection blinded her, then she drowned in the raging sea

Imagining for all love of life

She was just a prisoner titled his wife

Now will she fake her separation from the cobra's beast

Now the wishless heart will feast

Love me not she screamed in vain

Inside there was nothing but a salty grain

Fruitless heart for the dove

He was blind and now he lost her love

Forever his heart will be caste in pain

You should have never began to perceive

Now the snow white dove must leave

Whispering her name out loud

Now the angels stole the shroud

What was the word he meant to say "love"

Oh, love is too late today

For the hour has begun to sleep

Now the angel has begun to weep

Should our souls start to pray

Not anymore, he can not stay

Pulling him down into the lost depths

I heard a voice telling me a year ago

Telling me the dove would intercept the hail of the blinding snow

God please guide her and make her warm

Shelter her from the darkness of the storm

Take our dove and sit her upon a golden lark

Snowy white radiant beauty of a bird

Now imprisoned where her song is never heard

He took her soul, he took her life

He should have loved her, she was his wife

Her heart must not remain unknown

Please dear god don't leave the snow white dove alone
