The Silence That Cuts

She speaks in whispers, soft and low..
Yet in your silence, she won’t grow.
She reaches out with trembling hands..
But all she finds is a heartless man.

Her words dissolve, unheard, unseen..
A ghost inside a hollow dream.
She stands before you, bare, exposed..
Yet you turn away.. your heart is closed.

The quiet burns like frozen fire..
Each day a grave for lost desire.
Her laughter fades, her light grows dim..
Wasted, all that love for him.

She wonders if she asked too much..
If love was lost in lack of touch.
Did she demand a world too grand..
Or just the warmth of your own hand?

But silence speaks in wounds so deep..
In nights where lonely shadows creep.
A woman’s heart won’t break in sound..
It shatters where no voice is found.
