The Secrets That I Keep

Once to find love I compromised my virtue,
I fell in love none to the matter,
The people who stared me down didn't know they didn't understand,
The things that happen between a woman and a man,
The treasured memories, the secrets I've kept locked inside,
If not dor shame I should hide my face from those who stare in it,
Could they have seen me when I was at the crossroads,
Many times I've dared to let play with my fancy,
To let love have it' s way in the end I'd know that I could lose control,
The things that passion had in store was even more,
Than I could accomodate,
Too far behind in the game and too many secrets my heart to forsake,
To hold or to touch would be to tell of the secrets that I keep,
These secrets I've hidden very well of the love I kept at a distance,
My heart could find a place for someone like you in my life,
I love this thing about you, you must know though of the secrets that I keep,
The secrets of what sparks my passion you planted the seed in my mind,
I've planned and dreamed of how to get close to the treasures,
Because the pleasure are sublime they make me tick,
It is the the reason that I love, you need not wonder where love lies,
It is not far from your arms my love is yours I hope that your love is mine.
