The Roots to Love
I poked a little hole
Just an inch into the grown
I dropped a seed in it
It's one that you just found
I hope that it grows up
To be a mighty tree
So I can carve a heart
With our names for all to see
This tree will be the tallest
With limbs that reach the sky
and everyone shall know our love
as they come walking by
and even though we pass away
Our tree will ever grow
And you will always be my gal
as I shall be your beau
