Love Poem: The Reminder

The Reminder

It stands upon the hill through time
A reminder of our sinful past
He stayed upon the hill, then rose
Granting us all, a life to last

Eternal life is what He gave
Death and resurrection, His tools
Teaching, all of us can be saved
So as, we observe His golden rules.

The crucifix serves to remind
That we are truly never alone
We may wander, but we will find
Through Him, we’re not far from home.

He directed us the way to go
Pointing to the path, we all require.
Keep your feet straight, mind clear
To stay away from the Devil’s fire.

For He accepted it all for us
Carried our cross so we can be saved
Allow Him, now, the respect He deserves
Follow Him, now, on the road He had paved.
