The Reflection of Love
god's love is much different, our quest for love is not the same,
the world's perspective is too demanding, they play love like a game,
god's love is so patient, and peaceful at mind,
our rush of affection leaves us ten steps behind,
the friendships we build, builds our love at slow pace,
giving it time for slow growth, giving nuture and space,
to rush ahead would be foolish, because we'll miss the full affect,
of every quality we'de admire, the slow process of reflect,
a genuine story of one's life given with time,
the intricate details of one's spirit, to let love bloom and shine,
built on solid foundation, and not quickly shaken,
to see one's beauty of heart, and not quickly be taken,
the time that we take shows true meaning at heart,
to rush in would be careless, to go slow would be smart,
built on honesty and trust your friendship will grow,
if it's god's plan in mind, you'll never let go.
