The Prophet Who Made Me a Puppet

I remember a charming prophet I knew.
He was full of alluring smiles and words,
which he used to make many bow to him,
both the old and the young ones alike.
He even made many to be his puppets,
the number in which my humble self belong.
Then he changed and became a monster.
He became so ruthless in his words and actions,
that many lives were battered by his hands.
I pitied many and wished that I could help.
I never knew that my own time was at hand.

I was in love and he knew this fact for sure.
He even gave me his blessing all the way.
And watched my love grow day by day.
Then he struck without giving me a warning.
One day he called and said these words to me:
''You must break that relationship at once,
I have nothing to gain from this thing you call love''
I was stunned and my heart was bleeding and sore.
I never knew that this unusual man,
who said I should call him my father,
was selfish and full of many hearts of stone.
I never knew that this who claim to see many visions,
could control lives and make them look like his puppets.
But today as I remember this beast of a man,
I just know that he was without a heart.
