The Other Woman

Patience resisting my movements locking me down into a steadfast repeatious
cycle of disappointment.
Holding out for a turning point, a breakthrough, a glimmer of hope and victory.
Wanting to be taken care of, no worries, no drama, someone else holding it
down for a change.
No more sleepless nights, waking up in your arms safe, protected totally yours
as you are mine.
Infinite knowledge of love and belonging replacing lust and greed.
Sense of security, feeling nurtured, respected and needed.
An awakening of openness, no hiding, fears being banished to a never world far
away.
Reality settling in, a long lonely road to travel down, virtual feelings restraining my
peace of mind.
An inspiration needed for moments never taken for granted or wished away into
subconsciousness.
Begging on hands and knees for acceptance of love, returned compounded not
dragged out of one's soul with touches and kisses.
Whispered nothings fleeting from memory too quickly fading away into an
emptiness not soon forgotten.
A few hours nothing more, to be held and cared for, never passed up, never
refused, never truly yours.
