The Only Comfort Is That Force Flowing Inward

The only comfort is that force flowing inward,
wiping out doubt and making us smile outward.

When nobody is around and sadness
replaces gladness, the only comfort
is that force flowing inward to drive out
thoughts that once caused unhappiness.

The only comfort is that force flowing inward,
wiping out doubt and making us smile outward.

Prayers create peaceful moments;
we gain awareness of how precious
we are in His sight, of how perfect
we can become by pursuing light.

The only comfort is that force flowing inward,
wiping out doubt and making us smile outward.

God is the father of the forgotten, the friend
of the lonely and the comforter of the unloved;
reach out to Him whenever faith awakens
the strength of our belief as darkness thickens.

The only comfort is that force flowing inward,
wiping out doubt and making us smile outward.

Let's be confident that God will not
remember any of our sins, once grace
is restored and holy thoughts delight;
He can be found in a near or far place.
