The Mystical Dream
The mystical dream entwined you and me.
It came in the middle of day.
It fluttered my heart when first I did see
you looking at me in your sweet way.
The mystical dream was the scent of cologne
you wore the first time we went out.
It lived in your eyes, which lovingly shone
that moment when I had no doubt.
No doubt did I have my dream had come true.
Embracing and kissing all night
your magical lips, it all felt so new,
and the stars were brighter than bright!
The mystical dream disappeared as fast
as it came to me because then
you left, and I learned such dreams only last
in memories of way back when.
