In her sleep she hears stirring melodies.
She's heard them many nights before.
Sweet chords drift through the trees.
She longs to know who wrote the scores.
When she dreams the haunting music plays.
She cannot glimpse the man at her door.
His music hovered in her mind for days.
She listens intently and yearns for more.
In her dreams of him she holds no fear.
She smiles sweetly and begins to dance.
Dancing to music only she can hear.
Not afraid of love, she takes a chance.
She found herself in his loving embrace.
That's when she heard the music start.
In the moonlight she saw her lover's face.
The man who made the music in her heart.
