The Love You Got

You buried the love that you got from me,
Only to find out that it is a precious seed;
It blossomed and became a terrific tree,
From where willing hearts freely feed.

You burnt the love that you got from me,
Only to find out that it is a priceless gem,
It now shines brighter for all to see,
Many now covert your dazzling diadem.

You broke the love that you got from me,
Only to find out that it is a loud silence.
Its echoes reverberate across the sea,
Whispers of the night crave this silence.

You bent the love that you got from me,
Only to find out that it is a battle-bow.
Wield it to set our hurting hearts free
Till we rouse the rays of the rainbow.
