The King's Bard:

With a booming voice and a mighty roar, The king sat up to listen to his bard, As the bard declared on what was the law, The king sat silent, his face a facade. His bard had stated he had seen his wife, Hiding behind a tree with her lover, With no one to warn her of coming strife, You see her lover was the king's brother. When the king heard this he slumped in horror, His brother being his own trusted knight, And now to find out his wife was a whore, But she had already left out of fright. For the penalty for this, she would die, Safety at last for she was nowhere nigh. /|\
