The Jewel

 The Jewel…

There is a circular path which I walk there,
Every day is the same, does not matter where.
The mornings and the nights, they come and they go.
I am drowning in pain; save me if you care.

Who is at fault that I lost my precious jewel?
I’m lost in my room, wondering like a fool.
Where is it gone? Mirrors not showing his face.
Whoever took my youth was so ever cruel.

The nightingale tells me to break from my cage.
Night after night reminded me of my age;
They tell me to drink and forget there is death.
If I die, who’s the one to write my last page?

I am so so drunk I can’t drink more.
The wine is not the one I need anymore.
I need tender loving; no way I can wait.
I want it right away; I want it for sure.

Come my darling, I’m in pain, can you see?
Without you, laughter and sunshine cannot be.
You are my beloved, brighten my despair,
Come and open the cage; I want to be free.

I love you more than my love can ever say,
I want to write your name all night and all day.
I am old, but I am in love with my love,
I’m hoping that this time you will stay.

If I will live again, I’ll live like a fool.
No more pain, and no more books, and no more school.
I will laugh, and I will play, and I will dance,
I will shine as a youth like a precious jewel.
