The Intruder

He's in the house of my heart
And he's not paying rent
I hate that he is stealing my attention
And stealing my possession
Yet I feel like he don't deserve the succession
No no he can't be heir to my heart
I can't die of him yet
Can't let him take over my state
I don't know if he's the right ruler of it
So am holding back my vote
But like a reflex my hand stretches to give him a tick
And putting my whole being at stake
His manifesto is so enticing
Every citizen within my state is screaming in support at his words
And screaming for joy when he comes up stage to debate
Stretching out their hands to touch him
He has charmed them and much as I've been the it ruler of my state
Someone is winning me at a high rate
And I hate to admit it
I'm falling deep for this that I don't want to fall for
And this calls for war
I never accept defeat
So I won't retreat
