The Hickey
Today Stacey
who had seemed absent minded lately
showed up at school
acting all cool
and we soon saw a hickey
which everyone referred to as Mickey
to conceal it from the teachers
who would turn into preachers
if they knew that she silently bragged
about being tagged.
Everybody wanted her to give up the name
of the boy who had brought her fame
but she wanted her crush
to remain hush hush
so she just gave us a smile.
But after a while
we saw Kyle
walking around with something familiar
and that is when we realized
that he had also been hypnotized
with the kiss
of bliss.
