The Heart of a Poet -- Listens (Part 4 )

The Darkest DAY
Billows of Darkness
Surrounding a Broken Heart
Breathe deep smothered LOVE

Keep squeezing, squeeze the life out of me My WIFE went over THAT RAILING,
And so does my LIFE All of a sudden a tidal wave of Doctors, Nurses : Flailing
I could hear a Latin accent Over here, Over Here, Sedate Him, Sedate He’s crazy
A nurse with a syringe poked me and said Good Night I couldn’t fight ALL was Hazy

My host: Sleeps{ With one arm wrapped around the boom, other hand lifts Lenore
Together As mating Eagles We plummet into the Sunset on the Caribbean Sea’s floor}
My host is a Lifeguard, a Red Cross Certified Swimming Instructor A fish in Water
{ We Trampoline off smooth soft bronzed sand to the Sunset’s reflection atop the water}
                                                     My host Awakes

The foggy wavering images come into clarity : I see the tears in Mr. Adams Eyes
The grief on Mrs. Adams face The loss of a beloved sister in Lois and Leslie’s Eyes
Mr. Adams ”SON, You should have this, A transparent Pure White Veil : no Green Eyes
“Amigo How are you?” The monster arms, bear paw hands, tree stump shins, Devil Eyes

“I am Ishmael Cortez, I Love my Mother and Father and the way they Love each other
I have never seen LOVE as you displayed last night, You made me want to let You :Go”
My host says nothing, the pain of loss in his tears : the agony felt through a White Veil
Torment surrounds me: I’m pounding, to the symphony of misery, Enveloped I smother
