The heart?
Ponder for a moment, the human heart
doctors says its just another part
circling our blood around no other function to be found
The heart?
Connected to the human soul, part of the shadowy conscience of man
God created truth and wisdom, for these are good things...
our heart is there to filter them, an invisible part of Him
Some would say “He has no heart” or
“Her heart has been broken dear”
but find this heart, oh this heart of mine, and it will soon be clear...
The heart? Of man nor beats or is still
it lives on forever whether pure or black indeed
the heart can’t be broken nor fulfilled
The heart? Is only a spark
a bit of the divine
if you think it pains you now
then just be still and give it time...
