The Gods Must Be Crazy- Contest

Thirty years as a pair (well, next year we'll be there)
if by the Lord's grace you still find us,
but I think it's a crime, that he's taking his time
old Yue-Lao with his red cord to bind us.

Though sometimes we might start a row and a fight,
you would think that the first to jump in
would be Mars, God of war in Roman cosmic law,
but no sign of him when it begins.

Mighty Thor, God of thunder knows whose thumb I'm under,
but he's making no song or a dance
he takes us as he finds us, no need to remind us
that we're never parting- no chance.

Anubis seems quiet, I'm not quite sure why it
ignores that I love you to death
I don't need to worry, it seems in no hurry
to take from me my final breath

The spirits above us, most of which say they love us
since time began, I think they knew,
apathetic or lazy, the Gods must be crazy
to let me keep on loving you.
