Love Poem: The Gingerbreadman

The Gingerbreadman

A gingerbread man came to your door,
He jumped right through and danced on the floor,
Suddenly he whirled about,
Raised his arms and began to shout,
In lyrical voice he did rant and rave,
Professing love that he did crave,
Then passed ginger little kiss,
That floated to your waiting lips,
Smack once, smack twice, your tongue rolled 'round,
His essence in your hunger found,
To bring upon your face a smile,
Twas a tasty cookie after while.
