The Gift That I Give You
I give you a gift wrapped in ribbons blue
Attached is a card saying, “I Love You”,
Inside the box is love unimagined—
My innermost being--honest and true.
I give you a gift wrapped in ribbons blue
Protected with satin through and through
The box contains my heart and my soul,
For without you, what would I do?
I give you a gift wrapped in ribbons blue
It is clearly something of infinite value
For I have sacrificed all that I possess--
Giving my life, my all, my dear, to you.
