The Forgotten Love

Time was melting away. I was unaware; where and how.
My eternal companion in happiness and tear was gone,
The love which had compassionately held me near,
On that love, my busy lifestyle had played a con.

You had sparkled up my imaginations,
You were my addiction, you were my dope,
Now that you are gone missing from my life,
In your absence, with loneliness I can hardly cope.

Destinations across the oceans and continents we had covered,
You had been my cohort through the solitary long road,
The fragrance of your binding had made by breath louvered,
You had been my expedition, you had been my home.

Your absence doesn’t mean that I don’t live,
It’s just that you had swigged up my heart and soul,
In your presence every burden felt lighter,
Every anxiety of the world imbibed in the Black Hole.

Thoughts of you have made me crazy,
Never did it mean that I was a nerd,
It only triggered the sensation even when back in reality,
That I was with you, in a different world.

You had filled me with an amazing evangelical zeal,
You had made me laugh, you had made me cry,
Hugging you close I had overcome my nightmares,
But mostly you had given wonderful dreams in my eye.

Had we not shared so many precious moments,
Had we not cherished each other’s existence like the stars and moon above,
It’s time to rejuvenate that prized existence,
Oh how much I miss you!! BOOKs, my forgotten love.
