The First Time We Met
In nineteen seventy six on the sixth of December
Was the first day we met one I’ll always remember
I took her to the gaumont cinema to see Rollerball
Afterwards I walked her home and I felt ten foot tall
She asked me in to meet her mom and we had coffee
I knew as the night went on she was the girl for me
It’s now been over forty years and we are still happy.
