The First Step
Why have you chosen the darkness my child,
the unknown is waiting down every mile.
Nothing is certain, except so much pain,
you are better than this, step out of the shame.
Sure you have had your problems,
like everyone else,
but you are the one, that must help yourself.
No one is perfect, or ever will be,
listen to God, and He will set you free.
He did not make you for a tragedy like this,
He made you out of love so you may love,
and have much happiness.
Open your eyes, and ask for His help,
it's all up to you, now take the first step.
