The Final Good-Bye

As I lay down on my bed,
I think of all the things you said.

You promised me you'd always be there,
Now you act as though you don't care.

Tears stream down my face,
The memories of you I can't erase.

It all seems like so long ago,
Long before these scares would show.

As you got your things and walked away,
I broke down inside begging you to stay.

You yell as you pushed me down,
Kicking me deep into the ground.

What has happened to you,
This side of you I never knew.

You pull me up by my hair,
As I looked into your empty stare.

I watched a single tear drop from your eyes,
As you stabbed me in surprise.

I hit the floor bleeding trying to get away,
You came closer to my dismay.

Cornered at a wall,
I began to bawl.

You smiled filled with hate,
Is this my fate?

Strangling me with your belt,
Cold inside is all I felt.

So here I lay on my bed,
Bleeding and half dead.

Just waiting to die,
As you kiss me Good-Bye.
