The End of the Road

( Subtitle : Let the road end, let love linger )

Grapes and grandeur in the pink sun
We shared for our pleasure
The frost and fervor that we spun
Looked beyond erasure

Love and hate are too much ingrained
I know, in our apples
As the maples dropped off in pain
Paled the passion purple

How come our bubbles got so sick
Was our love just a lust
Or else how the wall grew so quick
Billowing mean distrust

Okay, let the wedded road end
Let us remain just friends
You go your way and me mine bend
With shared rains in our veins

Time releases both stink and scent
Dahlias we did love
Will wear off too the discontent
Clouds of love float above
