The Emotional Reaction In Birds

Strolling down a lonely lane, I spotted two beautiful, fair shallows
having a querrel which led to a fight;
can anyone tell me who was right?
Why dId the angry female attack the male with her manacing claws?

I would leave it to your imagination,
see them work out their frustration,
and this shows that even birds have anger feelings...
of course, they can't talk, but they're far from darlings!

Did she suspect him fooling around with another pretty bird?
Was he caught red-handed and couldnt' make up a silly lie with a belivable word?
Was he denied a little sweetness when he needed it the most?
I came to this conclusion: he had an affair when he had an urge he couldn't resist!

So for over an hour they carried on the platform of a cut-down tree...
the female accusing her mate, the male denying the accusation,
but wouldn't his honesty have solved this conjugal matter amicably?
Pride was his sole pretense, jealousy was her ultimate frustration!
