The Dreams of My Soul
My eye lids become heavy,
Drifting to slumber.
Walking into a field of sunflowers,
As bright as the sun.
Looking up into the sky,
Hearing the angels sing,
Their song of hope,
Guiding me into peaceful harmony.
My mind drifts into a deep sleep,
As I dream in a world of magic,
Taking me to the lives I have lived.
The people I have loved,
In the past beyond all imagination.
Fate, destiny and broken promises,
Live forever in my heart.
Yet, in my dreams it will,
Forever be a part of my soul.
